A theme often feels reassuring. It gives choices a name, organises colours, and helps select coordinated details. Bohemian, romantic, minimal, country chic, Mediterranean, botanical. These labels are useful, but they are not always enough. Sometimes they simplify too much. Sometimes they place a couple inside an image that already belongs to someone else.<\/p>\n
A wedding should not begin with a label. It should begin with an identity. Identity is not an aesthetic category, but a constellation of values, memories, gestures, places, rhythms and sensitivities. It is what makes the day recognisably yours even if no one ever names the theme. It is the difference between following a style and creating a language.<\/p>\n

When you start with a theme, the question becomes: does this detail fit? When you start with identity, the question changes: does this detail say something true? It is a small shift, but it changes everything. The wedding stops being a composition of elements that match and becomes a story that belongs to the couple.<\/p>\n
This does not mean style is unimportant. Quite the opposite. Style matters deeply. But it should be the result of an inquiry, not the starting point. One couple may arrive at an essential aesthetic because they love restraint and silence. Another may choose rich materials and deep colours because beauty, for them, means intensity. The same visual direction can have very different origins.<\/p>\n
Identity also protects the wedding from becoming a copy. Two celebrations may share the same palette, the same villa and even the same suppliers, yet feel completely different if the intention behind them is different. Intention gives depth to form.<\/p>\n
